We give voice to exceptional people and organizations with ideas or current projects in the LAC region. In principle, the Initiative attends potential or existing projects of the export sector of LAC, as it means there is a particular interest of a group of stakeholders who are engaged and motivated to take action. For us, this is a key factor, as our efforts are adding value to their endeavors, avoiding duplication of actions and making sure to work collectively in collaboration schemes to achieve common goals.

The Initiative provides the developers of ideas or projects the benefit of accurate information, exceptional trainings to build capacity, win-win partnerships and networks, as well as the identification and creation of business opportunities, that otherwise would not be available to or known by them. The goal of working with LAC projects and its involved stakeholders is for them to become multiplier agents to accelerate the adoption of climate / environmental actions in an efficient way and thus create a positive footprint in this world.

The LAC Footprint Initiative was created in 2015 with the focus of integrating experts from Latin America and the Caribbean who are based in abroad. The goal is to identify synergies to target climate /environmental challenges faced by the productive and agro export sector of our countries of origin; for some of the experts, the collaboration is broadened by its role in its own place of work or by directly working as a core team consultant member for the Initiative.
